Wellies in the woods is a resource to help creative play in the outdoors for toddlers and young children.
The website is packed with fun and simple outdoor activities for parents and children. There are activities for all seasons because whatever the weather, you can still have fun outside!
Activities are designed for children of pre-school and early years age, but there’s nothing stopping older children getting involved too!
Wellies is the Woods is a concept designed by community charity Groundwork East, and thanks to funding from the Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust, Fenland District Council, and Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government, there have been lots of courses for parents and children across the UK, training for early years practitioners on how to run their own courses, and of course this website!
